Beats By Her House of Blues Showcase Featuring Dope Women Artist

The event will be hosted by 103.7’s Sybil Summers and Girls Rock Dallas will serve as the official nonprofit for the event.
The mission of #BeatsByHer is to shine a bright light on the talented women making a bold impact in Dallas’ growing music scene. The campaign includes featured interviews, stylish photo shoots with the city’s hottest creatives and a coveted opportunity to hit the stage live at an annual performance showcase.
#BeatsByHer empowers these artists with the support, resources and access needed to unapologetically pursue their dreams.
Being a woman in the music industry isn’t easy. It takes courage, hustle and steel determination to make it through the daily challenges they face.
Today, gender inequality continues to be a pressing issue in the music industry and in cities across the country.
But regardless of the biases that still remain, there is a silver lining.
Talent is talent no matter the race, gender, creed or religion.

The First Annual #BeatsByHer takes place on Thursday, November 17th, 2016 in The Foundation Room, inside the world renowned House of Blues Dallas. Nine incredible women have been selected to hit the stage in honor of female artists in Dallas and beyond. Tickets are $25 until 10/31, $30 after on Ticketmaster.com.
