Jay Z and Alicia Keys are headed to Harvard to educate students at the annual African-American Student Union Conference.
The New York City natives will be on hand when Harvard Business School’s African-American Student Union launches its annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference Feb. 5-7.
“We aim to celebrate African-American achievements, inspire many new milestones and provide a forum for attendees to take on issues facing our community such as: What is the African-American business community’s response to social injustice? Where do African Americans fit into the ever-expanding definition of diversity?” a statement on AASU’s site read.
The conference, titled “Transcend: Redefining Expectations,” will highlight black businesses and include networking events along with TED talks and panel discussions and impactful networking events.
Keys and Jay Z will be joined by American Express CEO Kenneth Chenault and the managing director of Bain Capital, Deval Patrick.
