Holiday season is here and other than the company potluck the culture is always looking forward to annual ugly sweater parties.
As many of you know I just moved to New York from Dallas to expand TCS and more. But while being here I have been on the hunt to find the right crew to follow for events to attend.
I found Fun With Friends NYC on instagram one day and decided to attend their FUGLY sweater party in Brooklyn. The party featured some ugly sweaters and also they collected over 200 toys for the youth. The DJ’s were dope too and could move the crowd which is something I am always looking for. One thing I have not adjusted to is the style of sound that is played here in New York . Let me explain, the DJs play a variety of soca, island, and dance hall music but its fun and I get to practice on my dance moves. Their next upcoming event will be the Kwanzaa Crawl. The Crawl spans 25+ bars & 2 boroughs. Powered by @Overfab’s Operation Mobilize, the event features DJs, drink specials, giveaways, and more.
