The controversy continues over the confederate flag as Activist Bree Newsome could not wait any longer.
Yesterday, social media blew up as video was revealed of this young brave woman scaled the flag pole to take down the confederate flag. The flag was located at the state capitol and continued to fly high despite being demanded to be taken down .
Bree was arrested on a misdemeanor and later bonded out. To legally remove the flag a 2/3 vote is required by both houses of the state legislature.
