[NYE Tips] 6 Champagne Recipes To Spice Up Your Toast Into 2016

“Glasses Of Champagne Out On The Dance Floor,” whether you are going to make someone’s hotline bling after the clock strikes 12 and everyone has yelled “HAPPY NEW YEAR” the way you toast is important. But what I’m more concerned with is what type of libation your glass is filled with.

 

As we usher in a new year full of new experiences, goals, and endeavors, let’s start it out with giving that quintessential champagne toast a twist, literally. My name is Jamisha Daniels (Feel free to call me Jam), and I am your go-to girl for concocting the perfect cocktail for every occasion.

Let’s take a look at 6 Champagne Recipes To Spice Up Your Toast Into 2016

1.RUBY FIZZ – Add a splash of the flavorful Austin, TX-made, Deep Eddy Ruby Red Vodka,

Champagne inside a Champagne Flute

1 oz Deep Eddy Ruby Red Vodka

Blueberry to garnish

2. Great Gatsby- More of classic cocktail, with a little kick.

2 oz vodka

2 oz gin

1 splash sweet vermouth

1 tsp lemon juice

Combine gin and vodka in a martini glass. Splash with sweet vermouth and add fresh lemon juice. Garnish with a lemon twist.

3. A- Lister- The shimmer of Viniq Ruby and the hint of lime mixed with the champagne is just a colorful as it is flavorful.

2 oz. Viniq Ruby

3oz. champagne

Lime squeeze

Pour all into a champagne flute and serve chilled.

4. The Jewel – This is the A-lister’s best accessory.

2 oz. Viniq

1 oz. premium vodka

2 oz. champagne

Orange twist

*Shake all except champagne, strain into a tall flute. Add the champagne, then garnish with a long orange twist.

5.Pink Lemonade Champagne – It’s just regular Pink Lemonade…. that gets you lit.

One 12-ounce container frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed (1 1/2 cups)

1 1/2 cups vanilla-flavored or plain vodka

One 750 ml bottle rose champagne, chilled

Fresh mint sprigs

Combine the lemonade and vodka. Slowly stir in the champagne.

 Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with mint sprigs.

6. Plata Fizz- Perfect way to tickle your taste buds, a splash of tequila never hurt anybody.

1 oz. Patrón Silver

Elderflower liqueur

Orange slice

Champagne

Muddle peeled orange slice in a shaker. Add tequila, liqueur, and ice. Shake well. Put twisted orange peel in flute glass. Strain mix into flute. Top with champagne.
