Emerging artist, Moxie Knox, releases her debut single and video, “Thorough” shot in the heart of New York City,
directed by herself and Pete Frederick. The video follows Moxie on a blissful date-weekend with her lover-to-be, and is garnished with mouth watering dance scenes. “Thorough” is a smooth, contemporary R&B single that ties sensuality with unapologetically seductive lyrics. The song includes a sample from Bootsy Collins’ “Rather Be With You,” an indicator of Moxie’s passion for soulful R&B.
Originally drafted as a duet, “Thorough” eventually became Moxie’s love letter to her future companion. The song paints a crystal-clear picture of how she would treat that significant other. “Thorough” released on Tuesday,
April 17, 2018 as the first single off of Moxie’s EP, “Motion,” expected to drop in the Summer of 2018. “This project is the sonic representation of the sexiest, the saddest, and the purest facets of my life and my imagination.
