Great news for the Frank Ocean fans that have been dying during his hiatus; he’s back…possibly.
Last night, a new song was uploaded to a random Soundcloud account then removed. However, a short clip of what appears to be a studio session is currently floating around the net. Although the quality of the audio is subpar, you can still hear Frank flexing his vocals over a melodic, guitar heavy beat.
This 30-second snippet could possibly mean that Ocean will be releasing his highly anticipated sophomore album in the near future. Since the release of his Grammy Award winning Channel Orange, Frank has teased fans with: hints at a magazine launch, a brief feature on Kanye’s “Wolves” and now this preview of an untitled track. At this point, lovers of Ocean’s music are getting pretty desperate for new material and this little snippet will be sufficient for now. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait too much longer.
