Today burgeoning rapper, Blac Papi, debuts his latest video, “Off The Block,” .Filmed in and around his home city of Philadelphia, the video captures Blac Papi basking in the pride he has toward his humble beginnings and leans toward a bright and successful musical future. Directed by LVTRKEVIN, the “Off The Block” visual is a follow up to Blac Papi’s well-received single “10 Toes Down.”
When asked about the inspiration behind the “Off The Block” video Blac Papi says ‘”Off The Block” was inspired by me just sitting on the couch with all my jewelry on and reflecting on life and how far I’ve come in such little time. It was a vibe as I looked at my life.”
Most recently, the buzzing Philly native wrapped up opening tour dates for rapper Cam’ron on “The Program Tour,” and has opened up for 21 Savage, Jeezy, Trina and 2 Chainz. Blac Papi is in the studio putting the finishing touches on his upcoming project that is slated for a spring release.
