Ramriddlz Takes Us To The Islands With New EP, “Venis”

There’s a chance people may not be familiar with the name Ramriddlz, but they’re most likely unknowingly in love with his work. Last summer, Drake covered the Mississauga native’s “Sweeterman“. Although the raunchy lyrics were toned down a bit on Drake’s version, the catchy flow belongs to Ramriddlz.

The artwork for Venis sets the tone of the rappers racy lyrics with an image of a peach that resembles a distinctive part of the female anatomy. The Egyptian-Canadian’s style can be described as a mix of dance hall, hip-hop, pop and a little r&b, however, the dance hall aspect is the most predominant. Regardless of the songs BPM, it’s impossible to not want to move your body to every song on Venis. Especially “Come C Mi”, which features Justine Skye. This track’s tropical beat accompanied by the two’s steamy chemistry definitely deserves a visual.

Producers Jaegan, RJF, 1Mind and Sevn Thomas are responsible for the EP’s tropical island vibe. This project arrived just in time for the approaching warm weather. Ramriddlz has a very unique sound and we’re loving it. Check the rapper’s Soundcloud out by clicking here.
