Is it possible to mix Work, Travel, Play, and Supporting your girlfriends all into one trip?
Well, 20 women made this exact mix a reality with a sprinkle of so much more during a trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica for the 2nd Annual Tene Nicole #SupportYourGirlFriends getaway. It was a weekend of building and learning how successful women can support one another on a daily basis.
The all-inclusive getaway was hosted by and at the beautiful Moon Palace Resort. I could not imagine a more perfect setting for hosting a group of busy women in serious need of a girls trip! If you are looking for a royal treatment for your next girl’s trip, bachelorette, or escape with your honey….you can count on the #PalaceLife experience at Moon Palace!
Over the course of 4 days, many laughs were shared and some tears were shed during intimate dinners and group sessions curated to develop a sense of support and sisterhood among the ladies. Oh, and who are the ladies that were in attendance? It was a mix of powerful women in their industries such as journalists, lawyers, ER doctors, fashion designers, media personalities, entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, and more.
Highlights of the trip were:
The “supportHER” Welcome Dinner which everyone arrived to in shades of pink.
The Private Sail where we joined forces to be a part of the #LevelUpChallenge! It was so much fun!
An Emotional and moving “Pow(H)er Dinner” where Lucinda Cross guided us through making our “Big Asks” of the world with intention, confidence, and preparation for the ask to be answered.
A fun beach day presented by Mielle Organics followed by a “Boss Bride Poolside Chat” hosted by Charreah Jackson, Essence Magazine Senior Editor and author of Boss Bride. This fun poolside chat came with amazing gifts from MakeUpForever.
All in all, this was an amazing, fun, and purposeful trip! It is possible to mix Work, Travel, Play, and Supporting your girlfriends all into one trip. I CANNOT wait until next year.
