Official Press Release
Dallas, TX (Oct.15, 2018)–The Baddie Brunch Series, Inc. (Baddie Brunch) today announced it would hold its highly-anticipated Midnight Disco Ball on November 30, 2018, at Viva’s Lounge from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
This themed ball will take cues from the 70s and feature a live DJ, cash bar, Soul Train line, and nostalgic photo-booths to capture the experience. The venue will be decorated with neon lights, disco balls, vinyl records, and photos from the era. Baddie Brunch is typically exclusive to women, but the ball will be a co-ed event. Proceeds will go toward the Baddie Brunch organization to help fund future events for professional millennials of color. All attendees must look the part to gain entry, so 70s attire is required.
“We’re excited to bring this event back this year with a little twist on the theme. We wanted to pay homage to a decade in history that still shapes our culture today,” said Sydney Chandler, founder of Baddie Brunch. “We will combine elements from Studio 54 and Soul Train to celebrate a decade of soul, disco, culture. It’s sure to be a great time for everyone!”
Baddie Brunch held their first ball last year and nearly 300 people from the Dallas area attended, including some guests from Houston, Austin, and Oklahoma.
