You taste! You sample! You play judge and vote for your favorite margarita. The best margaritas from the DFW area will be at one location. Savor won last year. Pie 314, Asador, Soleo, Whiskey Cake and Iron Cactus won previous years. You decide which margarita is the best at the Dallas Margarita Meltdown.

Competitors will concoct their finest margarita and offer samples during the competition from 4pm-7pm in the West End of Downtown Dallas, TX. The winner will be announced at 8pm. The event ends at 9pm.

Your ticket includes a sampling card used to vote which allows you to sample, taste and vote for your favorite margarita from each establishment participating.

This years participants are RJ Mexican Cuisine, Gators, YO Ranch, Tutta’s Pizza, Ellen’s Southern Kitchen, Spaghetti Warehouse and the Palm Restaurant from the West End, Iron Cactus, Draft Media Sports Lounge, Frankie’s Sports Bar, Dot’s Hop House and Cocktail Bar and Grayson Social from downtown, Taboo Lounge from Design District, The Standard Pour, Renfields Corner, Fat Rabbit, Don Chingon. Hotel Zaza from Uptown, Truck Yard from Lower Greenville, Shakertins from Austin Ranch, Cafe Herrera at the Omni Hotel and Lekka Café and Gifts, On The Border and Mellow Mushroom on Henderson Avenue, Cassidy’s lounge from Fort Worth, The Theodore at North Park Mall, El Rincon Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar from Carrolton and Twisted Root Burger from Deep Ellum with more being added.
