Yes. Fruit is healthy but it is also very high in sugar depending on the fruit of choice. If you want to lose weight, I’m sad to say that you will need to remove some fruits from your diet. Good news is, not all fruits are created equal. There are some fruits you will want to stay away from, while others are safe to eat throughout any diet. Here are a list of low -glycemic ( low sugar ) fruits:
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
- Blackberries
- Strawberries
- Watermelon
- Grapefruit
- Cantaloupe
- Peaches
*Note: these have the lowest sugar contents. You can choose from a complete list by researching “low glycemic fruit”.
