Notwithstanding the seriousness of the topics being discussed, “Runnin Back” is an intimate love story about the challenges of migrating to a new country seeking life and liberty in the pursuit of happiness; deals with addiction and how it affects the outcome of one’s life; and constant tug-of-war between the two in order to maintain self-awareness.
