A Chicago native is enjoying a considerable amount of publicity after his vegan cookies made their way onto the shelves of international retailer, Whole Foods.
Jimmy Prude says that the greatest benefit of his cookies isn’t just that they are good for you, but that they are also delicious. So, what is a vegan cookie? According to Prude, “Vegan just means there are no animal products used in the creation of these cookies.” And why is that important? According to Urban Intellectuals, Prude believes that by keeping animal products (including milk, eggs, and butter) out of the cookies, it creates ” a guilt-free indulgence”.
