December 27th, 2018 will be the 3rd #NationalGoalWritingDay, a social campaign dedicated to inspiring others to set goals for the year ahead. Successful people have achieved things that was thought to be unattainable but with a plan, they accomplished their goals . It is statistically proven that if you write your goals down , you are more likely to complete those goals. National Goal Writing Day focuses on its 3 main components: reflecting on the previous year, brainstorming on your upcoming year, and then creating a plan to execute your goals.
The campaign was launched under the Thirty Thirty Media brand, a interactive agency dedicated to experiential marketing & content curation. Since the campaign launch in 2016, National Goal Writing Day has had over 3,000 participants across the United States. Founder Marcus Gilmore says ” National Goal Writing Day is about igniting the community to be the best they can be with a plan in sight”.
Participating in #NationalGoalWritingDay can be done in a few short steps. First take 15 – 20 minutes to reflect on 2018. Where did you I do well this year? Where can I improve? What can I do next year to continue the progress on this goal? Next, start writing about the things you want to accomplish in the new year. Finally, share a few of those goals to your social media, tag your accountability community and use the hashtag #NationalGoalWritingDay.
