Joshua Okpara, Senior at the University of North Texas just published his first book titled; “She’s the one, but you’re not the one yet”. This book is the ultimate guide in finding yourself and understanding your value and worth before being understood by someone else.
While in his second year of college, he started The Dedicated Men, an organization that caught the eyes of students and alumni’s through their dedication to changing the retention rate among minority male students. Which led him to being recognized in the school as a male figure and leader; getting
nominations for best male activists, most impact student and winning student organization of the month.
Joshua says, that “There are many people in toxic relationships and failed marriages with no
hope of where to turn to next. Many men and women lack commitment and the knowledge of knowing what love truly is and the do’s and don’t of it; which leads to stress, depression, financial hardships and
unfortunately suicide. All because they don’t understand love or know how to find themselves.”
Joshua has focused his calling towards young men, with a tough, straight forward style of coaching. He wants to reshape the minds of young men into becoming fathers, entrepreneurs, better decision
makers and leaders.
In the book, readers get a step-by-step guide in finding themselves, understanding their worth and value, and learning how to love the right way.
