The Function 2
The Function 2 was held in March of 2012, this event was similar to the first one but this time we gathered for a different cause. This event took place shortly after the Trayvon Martin shooting. We gathered in the Deep Ellum area on this day in all black to call out against stereotypical shootings and gang violence. There were over 15 performers and 10 clothing boutiques represented at this event. With 400 attendees ready to hear the latest music on the underground scene this event also displayed how influential we can be in the community if we gathered for a positive cause.
