DeAndre Jordan signs a max deal of 80 Million to head back to the Lone Star State. No stranger to the area after spending years in high school in Houston and then another few years at Texas A&M. The transition for Jordan should come naturally.
The Mavericks did some great negotiations with Jordan over Friday as they began to show him how he could be the main man in for the team. Dirk, Chandler Parsons, and Rick believed in DeAndre and his ability to be enforcer in the paint.
Despite Chris Paul efforts to keep part of Lob City in L.A. , DeAndre was convinced by the Mavericks to make the move especially since he was receiving the right price.
But the Mavericks have not solidified a top point guard or at least an effective one to help run this newly office under Rick Carlisle . Can Devin Harris hold the point guard positions and lead the rest of the team?
One thing is for sure the signing immediately makes Dallas, which finished seventh in the Western Conference last season, a bigger threat.
