[WATCH] Kendrick Lamar Pays Tribute To Kobe Bryant – Fade To Black

There is only one game left in Kobe Bryant’s basketball career, many are paying their respects to The Black Mamba, and the latest is Compton-born MC Kendrick Lamar. Set to his “Untitled 07 | Levitate” from his recent Untitled Unmastered collection and written by ESPN writer Scoop Jackson, Fade to Black finds Lamar musing on things like Bryant’s five championships, his 2009 buzzer-beater over Dwayne Wade and his thunderous dunk on Dwight Howard when he was a rookie.

As we near closer to that game however, fans, peers & players alike have all been paying their respect to the Black Mamba in various forms, and one LA icon, Kendrick Lamar, decided to pay his in this new ESPN 30 For 30 short tribute “Kobe Bryant: Fade To Black.”
