Michael B. Jordan and Kobe Bryant star in Apple’s new ad for the fourth-generation Apple TV entitled “Father Time,” which turns out to be a reference to Kobe’s retirement.
The commercial features Kobe and Michael sitting watching TV in a trailer discussing Michael playing “young Kobe” in an upcoming film, while watching clips of Bryant’s career highlights. The conversation goes downhill when Jordan drops the bomb that he will be playing Kobe up until present day with “prosthetics and everything,” and then he summons Siri to go to a scene in the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
