The highly anticipated third season of the Starz show, Power, will be returning to television screens on July 17 after almost a year of being off air. Late last month the executive producer,50 Cent, took to his Twitter to announce the shows return.

This past weekend 50 caught up with Angela Yee and DJ Envy at the 94.5 Summer Jam in Boston and he gave us the full scoop. Initially, the third season was supposed to return in June until it was pushed back to July 17, which 50 was sure to note was the same day as Jeremih’s birthday.
Other changes include the show now airing on Sunday nights instead of its original Saturday night premieres. 50 also announced he has another scripted show that will be airing soon. 50 stated, “They’re going to be really surprised that I wrote the entire script.” He went on to state that we can expect him to direct an episode of Power in its fourth season.
