To punctuate her monstrous summer, Cardi B dethroned Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” to land the No. 1 record on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
“Bodak Yellow” marks Cardi’s first No. 1 record on the chart to date. In addition, her latest feat makes her the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill to snag the coveted Hot 100 spot without any guest appearances. (Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing)” went No. 1 in 1998.)
