Today, singer-songwriter & rapper,Chanel West Coast, dropped the official video for her track “NOTICE” exclusively with The Source. The video takes place during a performance of Chanel’s with a live audience. Watch the energy fueled video online here.

“Notice is a song off my upcoming project and it basically elevated to being something we dropped as a single from all the crazy positive crowd reaction at my show” says West Coast. “While out in Chicago for a show I decided to shoot a last minute music video in for it. No budget, no makeup, no hair, just me doing my thing in Chicago at a couple of my shows with my homies. Probably had the most fun doing this one. No one was taking themselves too serious and we came away with a super dope, fun and honest look into a day on the road. Pat Clark directed it. Hope y’all feel it as much as we did making it.”

Chanel West Coast has built herself into a mainstay figure within entertainment culture, recognizable as the vivacious co-host on MTV hit show, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness. As passionate a musical artist as she is an actress, West Coast’ credibility became solidified through a recording contract with rap icon Lil Wayne and his YMCMB label imprint in 2012. Now, an independent recording artist yet avid support of the YMCMB movement, West Coast states “I’ve always been around music, and I knew it’s what I’d do for the rest of my life. I didn’t have a choice.” Following the success of her first mixtapeNow You Know, Chanel released her second mixtape Waves with single, “I Like New” ft. YG in fall of 2015. Her visual such as “Bass In The Trunk” have since accrued millions of views in just a few months after release. Currently, Chanel is placing the finishing touches on her debut album with an approaching tour to follow.
