Nipsey Hussle is staying true to his #MarathonMondays oath as he’s released two new projects in the past two weeks. On May 2, Nipsey released a song titled “Ocean Views.” In the track Nipsey sticks to simple yet powerful tag lines such as, “Small circle it’s a chosen few. I wrote it down then I follow through.”
Yesterday [Monday, May 9], Nipsey released a song titled “Basic Instinct” featuring G Perico. Nipsey is straight to the point in describing how his success as an artist and an entrepreneur is the result of his instincts and trusting his own intellect, not the influence of outsiders.
Overall Nipsey is still giving us “all this game in his verses” while inspiring us with such an authentic hustle and the lifestyle to show for it. The #MarathonMonday campaign is definitely a good look for the Crenshaw rapper who continues to prove himself as a multi-faceted lyricist that can compete with the best of them. We can’t wait for Victory Lap, which we can expect sometime this year.
