ScHoolboy Q is in the midst of rolling out the follow-up to Oxymoron with his banging new single “THat Part” featuring Kanye West. Keeping all eyes on him as he races towards the currently untitled album’s release date, Q has just let loose of the music video for the song..
“THat Part” serves as the album’s lead single, which is also expected to include the previously released cut “Groovy Tony.” It’ll be Q’s first album since 2014, and will kick off a flurry of TDE releases that will also see new music from Isaiah Rashad and SZA.
Following ScHoolboy Q as he raps around people wearing faceless masks, the beautifully shot video is equally as well put together as the video for “Groovy Tony,”albeit nowhere near as gritty or gruesome. Q also finds himself in a school bus in video, before he stumbles to Kanye’s house for an impressive tracking shot that doesn’t cut away for a remarkably long time. The video is directed by Colin Tilley and THe Little Homies, which is the directing alias Dave Free and Kendrick Lamar go under.
