When Kid Cudi checked into rehab for depression and suicidal urges, he left the rollout of his upcoming Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ album in the hands of “the good folks at Republic and [his] manager Dennis.” Tonight, Republic followed through on his wishes by sharing a moody set of visuals for the album’s lead single, “Frequency.”
A trippy romp through a magical forest, the self-directed video plays up the song’s psychedelic influences as Cudi finds himself surrounded by alluring women and glowing mushrooms. So, pretty much everything you would want from a Kid Cudi video. Watch above.
