This year the Black Academy of Arts and Letters is hosting Dallas’s first Jazz festival. The Riverfront Jazz festival is a 3 day event during Labor Day weekend Sept. 1st -3rd with over 35 acts including, Erykah Badu, Melanie Fiona, Will Downing, and Ruben Studdard just to name a few.

With Sponsorship from Visit Dallas, Big Thought, and The City of Dallas Cultural Affairs this festival is the first of many to come. As we are gearing up for to make this a annual event for the city we are looking to increase the awareness of the younger generation.
