NYC’s infamous street football league is just like the NFL, if you replaced coaches, doctors and the Vince Lombardi trophy with ex-convicts, cognac and a fistful of cash. Then got rid of the pads and most of the rules designed for player safety. What it lacks in polish is more than made up for in passion, drawing participants from some of the roughest hoods in New York.
