Places You Have to Eat In Tampa

Florida brings crowds looking for sun, sea and sand. There is so much to do, and more places to eat than you might think! If you like your American classics with an Italian twist then On Swann is a must. Dinner mains include steak frites, pork chops and herb roasted shrimp. Packed with flavor on the menu and a beautiful inside it is the ideal place to relax for a while. What’s more is you can see what’s being cooked up in the kitchen with the open-kitchen dining room.

Rooster & The Till

Winner of the Michelin Bib Gourmand award in 2022 and 2023, Rooster & The Till offers something flavor packed and unique. If the idea of sampling many different dishes then a tapas-style restaurant is right up your street. They have guest chef appearances, and if you’re lucky enough to be in the area make sure you book in advance! 

 

The tasting menu any time you go is incredible, with dishes like basil potato dumpling, gnocco fritto and iberico pluma. For something bigger, then the main menu has delicious meals like cobia collar, fazzoletti nero and seared foie gras. 

The Deviled Pig

Looking for an award winning Heritage Fire 2023, then look no further. They have some signature sandwiches that you absolutely have to try, including the pitmaster queban, filled with smoked brisket, pulled pork and the outstanding pirate mustard sauce. The smokehouse sandwiches are plentiful, hot link sausage and all beef smoker bologna are just the start. 

Extra hungry? Go for the full rack St. Louis rib platter! There are plenty of sides to choose from like the panko topped mac and cheese, and the fried jalapeno mac and cheese. 

Gigglewaters Social Club and Screening Room

A mouthful of a name maybe – but this prohibition-themed restaurant is somewhere you need to book asap. The social club is named after the nickname for cocktails in 1920’s, giggle water. With handcrafted cocktails, and 100% wagyu beef burgers – as well as movies every night of the week, with multiple showtimes. 

Combine a mimosa with an over the top omelete for the perfect brunch, but for a dinner option? The 1919 bourbon bacon jam, swiss cheese, bacon strips and onion tanglers topped burger is a delight. 

But if you want the burger featured on TV then The Commissioner was featured on Man V. Food. This burger is wagyu beef, bacon strips, gouda cheese, butcher block bacon, onion tanglers, a whole pearl sugar waffle and a cookie butter drizzle!
