Linkedin Hosts National Pop-Up For Life After College

For Immediate Release:

LINKEDIN HOSTS NATIONAL INTERACTIVE POP-UP EXPERIENCE FOR POST-GRADUATE TRANSITIONS

Sunnyvale, CA – On Friday, September 7, 2018, LinkedIn will partner with #WHATSNEXT to host a one-day workshop for current college students in the surrounding California areas. As the first of its kind, #WHATSNEXT is an interactive, pop-up workshop tour designed to prepare upcoming college students for the post-graduate transition into the real world workforce. The event will be held at LinkedIn Headquarters, the world’s largest professional network with more than 562 million users in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. The FREE, one-day workshop includes experiential workshop sessions, live interviews and on-the-spot resume critique, hip music, sponsor giveaways, and food provided. The highlight of the event features the “Dopest Graduate Panel Ever”, with recent graduates and young professionals sharing their “behind the scenes” stories in different industries at Facebook, Google, a culinary entrepreneur, a celebrity photographer, a career matchmaker, and a marketing lead at LinkedIn.

Students are encouraged to bring their current resumes, business cards, and laptops if they have them, as they will experience workshop topics such as “Paper Trail”, “Get the Gig”, and “Rock Your Profile” with LinkedIn experts. California Pizza Kitchen and Starbird Café are among sponsors involved in the event in support of this college/university level event. They’ll also have a chance to organize their post-graduate goals, with plenty of time to prepare for National Goal Writing Day (December 27th).

#WHATSNEXT will take place on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 9am-2pm at LinkedIn Headquarters, 950 W. Maude Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. Doors open at 8:30am and admission is FREE with breakfast snacks and lunch provided; RSVP required. To register for this event, visit www.hashtagwhatsnext.com.
