[Dallas,TX – August 8th]
This weekend marks one year since 18 year old Michael Brown wa shot and killed by officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. We would later learn that Brown was unarmed. This case sparked outrage in the city and around the country.
Since the shooting Ferguson has a new look . They have hired a new police chief , a new city manager and a new municipal judge. All of them African Americans who replaced white leaders.
This weekend there will be several vigils and protest in honor of Michael Brown.
