Top Dawg Entertainment has been making their presence known as the record label to beat over the course of 2017. As we start this new year, we clearly see the signs they plan to continue this momentum. Kendrick Lamar, the star artist of the label, has shown consistency by holding down his place in the rap game since his first release Overly Dedicated in 2010. His leadership and booming success is setting the sails for a full blown TDE takeover in 2018.
Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN and SZA’s CTRL were sure tell signs that this music group is nothing to play with.
