The latest project from Dallas Artist Jayson Lyric was released in 2014 and this has solidified his emergence in the city of Dallas. Before this mixtape he had a hit single called “Donald Trumpet “. This is when I first met him four years back and there as been nothing but great things coming from Jayson Lyric. What I like about him and his music is that he is not following a trend of trying to sound as if he is from Atlanta, LA, or New York. He is following the footsteps of the Dallas sound with his own spin on it. Everything about his music presents the Dallas Lifestyle with the beat and lyrics taking you on a journey that you can listen to no matter the day or time.
But If you have not got a chance to hear him live and vibe to his music, maybe in two weeks at #SXSW you will be able to catch him live. He will be performing at the Ten Oak Club on Friday March 20th. The headliner for this show is MaxoCream so you are in for a great vibe of Dallas and Houston mixed together.
