[Fitness Tips] Skip Breakfast and Lose Weight? Think Again!!

It is 6:00 am and your alarm clock is going off, you hit the snooze button  4 times and then reluctantly crawl out of bed. You are already running late so you rush to wash up, get dressed, and you are out the door. Around 10  o clock you are already feeling drained and ready for a nap. Why is this you say to yourself? I just slept 7 hours how could i possibly be tired already?
If you are anything like me i am sure that you grew up your entire life hearing that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Sadly we are told this but no one ever explains why, therefore when we get older we continue to skip it not knowing its value.
WEIGHT CONTROL
Many people don’t know but within 30-45 minutes of waking up your body is going to decide whether it is going into a fat storage mode, or a calorie burning mode. When you skip breakfast your body goes into that fat storage mode, and the next time you eat, whether healthy or not your body is going to store it as FAT. Now who doesn’t want to be in a calorie burning mode? Shoot I do!
BETTER NUTRITION
 This one is self explanatory. Having a balanced breakfast with your proteins, carbs, fiber, healthy fats, and oils, gives your body better nutrition than skipping breakfast. And no. Coffee is not breakfast! NEXT
 
MORE ENERGY
 When you supply your body with a healthy breakfast you naturally are going to have more energy. Why you ask? Now your metabolism is revved up and working giving you natural energy, instead of having to reach for energy drinks. If anything will give me more energy naturally, sign me up because my days are long.
MENTAL CLARITY
 This is a proven fact that not only does breakfast help you stay focused but it also helps reduce stress. At night our bodies our fasting that is why we call it breakfas,t because it is breaking the fast.
To answer the question can I lose weight by skipping breakfast? I hope by now you see the answer is unequivocally NO. A healthy breakfast should consist of a variety of foods for example; low fat milk, lean meats, whole grains, fruits and vegetables; I like to keep it simple I have a Herbalife Shake which is everything I need in a meal, and then I am out the door.
So the next time your co-worker is being a grumpy, mean, and tired person, do not be to hard on them, because like you they may have skipped their breakfast.
