All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. -T. E. Lawrence
A story Les Brown told me :
A man was laying in his death bed dying from sickness that had suddenly come over him. Surrounding him why night were his dreams, goals, aspirations, future inventions, future books he wanted to write, a several businesses he wanted . They decided to stop by on his last few days the sick man was alive. When they came to the room they walked around and stood surrounding his bed over looking the man that was sick. “Mr. Dreams uttered out ” we came to you by God to make you Great and only you could have brought us to life with your strength but now we must die along with you. ” The sick man looked at his dreams, goals, aspirations, future inventions, future books he wanted to write, a several businesses and had no answer for them. They each turned their back and laid on the floor… Moral of the story is Don’t let your dreams die and go after what you dream about.
