For years, Sprite has been associated with two things: music and sports. This summer, the brand will tap into hip-hop nostalgia with a new round of artists in the “Obey your verse” campaign. Last summer, the brand rolled out cans featuring inspirational lyrics from Nas, The Notorious B.I.G. and Rakim.
This time, the “Limited Edition Lyrical Collection” highlights verses from another crop of your favorite artists. The following commercial features snippets of music from 2Pac, Missy Elliott and J. Cole, with legendary rapper Rakim making an acting cameo in the commercial.

The Lyrical Collection is part of a contest that offers major swag.
