Sandra Bland, an HBCU Grad was just days away from beginning her new job at her Alma Mater before she was arrested .
Bland was arrested July 10, accused of assaulting an officer after a routine traffic stop more than 1,000 miles from her home in the Chicago suburb of Naperville, Illinois.
Bland, 28, was found dead Monday in a Waller County jail cell in Hempstead, Texas, after authorities said she hanged herself with a plastic trash bag. Her family and friends say that is impossible; that the woman they know, who fought strongly against police brutality and had just gotten a new job, would never have committed suicide.
Sandra’s family, friends, sorioty sisters all want answers to her death and now FBI and Texas Rangers have joined in the investigation.
