So, it looks like Liana Bank$ is 3 for 3 at this point. She’s returned with a new banger, “Leave Me Alone”; a collaboration with well known UK producer Mura Musa. Since we last featured Bank$, she’s been making major moves in the game. She’s caught the attention of Solange and has been mentioned on her Saint Heron blog along with a win on MTV U’s The Freshman for her super dope “LVLUP” visuals.
This collaboration is certainly a match made in musical heaven. The beat is a blend of genres, which is perfect for Bank$ who simply can’t be put in one box. As the wavy beat switches up, Bank$ holds her own with her effortlessly cool flow we’re beginning to absolutely love.
While her previous releases were more so “anthem” type tracks,”Leave Me Alone” takes on a little more personal approach. Liana uses her impeccable writing skills to paint the image of a relationship that just seems to fall short of her needs. We’ve inferred from her other singles that Liana Bank$ is most likely a head strong and courageous chick, so of course she tells Mr.Man to kick rocks if he can’t play the role.
