Event Recaps & Press Release

CELEBRITY PHOTOGRAPHER TO HOST QUARANTINECON FIRESIDE CHAT

Press Release:

On April 4, the celebrity photographer and videographer Cam Kirk will take over QuarantineCon. QuarantineCon was founded in March by Scooter Taylor and Tre’von Hill as a digital conference to bring creatives and business people together in the face of COVID-19. It has quickly grown into a community.

This Saturday, from 6:00pm(CST) – 8:00pm(CST), Kirk will share his expertise on how creatives can utilize their energy and build a strong business.

“Cam Kirk Studios is an epicenter for the culture right now,” Taylor explained. “We are thrilled to partner with Cam. Many people are looking at him and aspiring to do the same thing he has done — channel passion and creativity into a much larger platform.”

Kirk’s studio has opened its doors to thousands of creatives, giving them a safe space to work and create. He has worked with and produced work for artists such as 2 Chainz, Lil Baby, Gunna, Gucci Mane and Future.

Kirk will begin the QuarantineCon event with a free fireside then lead a ticketed workshop. Admission for the workshop is $10. Kirk will also launch the Creative Crisis Fund, which will benefit creatives in the Greater Atlanta area who are facing hardship due to COVID-19.

“QuarantineCon was developed in response to social distancing, shelter-in-place, and quarantine measures put in place due to COVID-19,” Hill noted. “We are honored to now be connected to a cause that will make a direct impact in the face of the crisis. All workshop ticket sales will go directly to the fund.”
