Fifth Harmony, 7/27 Tour

Gexa Energy Pavilion: Dallas, Texas

Ally. Dinah. Normani. Camila. Lauren. Rattle these names off to any Generation X adolescent, and I’m sure they could relay back with a laundry list of songs from Fifth Harmony’s catalog.

These girls have been work, work, work, working their butts off since the kick off of their 7/27 tour. The group’s head honchess, Camila Cabello, had actually just returned to the stage for the Dallas stop after having to leave early during their previous show in Missouri, as the songstress suddenly became stricken with an anxiety attack. The quintet didn’t miss a beat in Dallas, however, and gave the youngsters their money’s worth and then some.

Since taking home third place during the second season of The X Factor USA in 2012, this Miami born girl group has been taking the airwaves by storm, and inspiring millennials around the world. After selling over 7.5 million certified records in the U.S. alone, Fifth Harmony has surfaced as the most efficacious of the alumni from the X Factor U.S. franchise. The group recently took home Best Collaboration (for “Work From Home“) and Song Of The Summer (“All In My Head (Flex)“) at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards in New York.

Another pleasant surprise on this tour, is being able to see JoJo make her triumphant return to the main stage. She of course satiated her diehard fans with the classics, like, “Baby It’s You,” “Get Out” and her own personal rendition of Drake’s, “Marvin’s Room.”

The 5-Piece pop sensation Fifth Harmony are finally getting the attention they’ve been deserving for quite some time. As they continue pushing forward in support of their sophomore album 7/27, their hits “Worth It” and “Work From Home” are still topping the charts. These girls are young and have a long road ahead of them, and we can’t wait to see what feats they accomplish in their bright future.
