7 Date Tips to Level Up this Valentines Day with Your Woman

If you’re in a romantic relationship, Valentine’s Day on 14th February is one day you cannot miss. Lovers all over the world make a special effort to declare their feelings to each other, and so should you – but will a card and a box of chocolates really be enough? Surely, you can do better than that! We’ve come up with 7 romantic tips to woo your girl on Valentine’s Day.

  1. Candlelight breakfast

Candlelight dinners are romantic but oh so predictable. Why not get Valentine’s Day off to a good start with a candlelight breakfast instead? It’s up to you whether you serve her breakfast in bed, have it all laid out in the dining room or take her out to a café or hotel restaurant for a special treat. Just make sure you have all the things she loves for breakfast, and serve up a glass of bubbly too, just because.

  1. Say it loud, say it proud

If you’re in love, you want the whole world to know – so tell them! Digital posters or advertising screens are a great way to make your special message public. It’s not a cheap way to say ‘I love you’ and it will take some time to organise it, but she’s worth it, no?

Design your special message yourself or work with a professional agency to get the right look and feel. Then choose a site that you know she’ll see on her way to work and bingo – surprise! She is sure to love the fact that you put your heart and soul into it.

  1. Romantic treasure hunt

Everyone loves surprises, as long as they’re good ones. Why not take your better half on a mysterious journey with lots of romantic clues that lead to a great Valentine’s night out together?

Use your imagination and start, perhaps, with a romantic dinner where you explain to her what you have planned, placing the first clue under her plate? Follow up with a romantic email the next morning containing the next clue, then a note under her car’s windscreen or a tantalising text message or a bouquet of flowers with yet another clue, until she is finally guided to the Valentine’s destination – a luxury romantic dinner for just the two of you!

  1. Love coupons

Handmade love coupons are always a winner. Put your thinking cap on and make coupons for all the things you know she loves – a shopping trip to her favorite store, a foot massage, an indulgent Afternoon Tea at a hotel, a movie night with you… you get the general idea.

The important thing is that you’ve really thought about what she would like, and put your time and effort into creating handmade vouchers that she can redeem for an indulgent treat anytime. It will make her feel extra special.

  1. Valentine’s cocktails

If your girl loves cocktails, why not mix her a Valentine’s Cocktail to your special recipe? No matter if you ‘steal’ someone else’s recipe and pretend it’s yours (see the menu here), the only thing that matters is that she will love it and appreciate the trouble you’ve gone to, just for her.

  1. Another first date

How about going back to the beginning and re-ignite the flame all over again? You could set up a ‘blind’ date somewhere neither of you has been to before, and pretend it’s your first ever meeting.

A bit of role play may be required as you introduce yourselves to each other just as you would on a first date. Explore each other’s interests through topics of conversation and watch the chemistry unfold all over again.

  1. Rooftop Dining

Valentine’s Dinner is a must for any couple. But don’t just take her somewhere nice – take her to the top!

What could be more enjoyable than spending the night in a dreamy location with the woman that takes your breath away?
